A $55 billion regional bank holding company headquartered in Ohio had hired new staff whose vision was to introduce an advanced Microsoft infrastructure and migrate off the legacy Lotus platform.
ProSource partnered with Microsoft Consulting Services to architect and implement a SharePoint 2010 solution which ultimately involved implementing three separate products into the client environment.. ProSource project leads began by scoping the environment for usage and scalability (number of users, tasks performed, throughput normalization), and after gathering specific performance information and requirements from the client, created a complete build-out of a SharePoint farm. The platform roll-out included user profile syncing, intranet capabilities, and a complete collaboration portal with Enterprise Search. In addition, the intranet featured distinct SharePoint branding, as well fully automated load testing and performance testing in order to validate the farm and test peak load capabilities.
