A top ten global pharmaceutical company had an existing system that was no longer supportable due to the inherent functional limitations of the legacy technology and the high cost of ongoing support. The business selected a new Microsoft-based solution and designed an application solution to manage their entire pipeline of drug developments, help protect their R&D investments, and manage their risk. Because of the sensitivity of this mission critical information, the project requirement stipulated that the solution be highly secure, yet also be accessible to their external vendors as a portal for participating in this collaborative environment.
ProSource co-developed with Microsoft’s Global Delivery team a secure environment comprised of SharePoint 2010, CRM 4, Visual Studio 2010, .NET 4.0, TFS 2010, TMG, Project Server 2010, and SQL Server 2008. Central to this project was a complete build-out of a SDK (Software Development Kit) platform. This massive integration project was the largest CRM deployment ever done to date, and it included integrating SharePoint 2010, CRM4, and Project Server 2010 for the very first time.
